although I have done a few flower macros before, it has never appealed to me to try something with a rose... I think the reason for that is that roses are way over done in photography, and it often carries a "cheap" feel to it, if not done well. but I thought I'd try something with it, anyways, to see what turned out. I'm not terribly happy or excited with this photo, but I'm putting it up anyways, mostly to get feedback and critiques on how to do better next time with a flower shot. I've seen some tremendously well done flower macros here on dA, so I'm willing to learn as much as possible from you all. Let me know what you think and what you suggest I do differently.
